LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Linton Miners and Sullivan Golden Arrows will meet for the 104th time Friday night. Linton is 1-0 after beating Southridge last week for the first time in program history. The Miners edged Sullivan, 22-16 last year in overtime.

Head coach Brian Oliver says, “Coach Powell – I have lot of respect for him. He got me into coaching several years ago. It’s just good to be able to be on the field with them and the other side. We are friends throughout the year except for this week. It’s always a good time.”

Quarterback Hunter Gennicks says, “I love playing them. It’s a great game. We both look forward to it all year round. Anytime we see each other out in public, we are always thinking about it so hopefully we can execute like we did last year.”

Kickoff is set for 7pm Friday night in Linton.
