LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Friday night marks the 103rd meeting between the Linton Miners and the Sullivan Golden Arrows.
The game will be one of the hottest tickets in the state with limited attendance.
Head coach Brian Oliver says,”There’s a lot of people wanting tickets, but only so many can go so. That’s the bad part because this whole game has a huge atmosphere and now it’s going to be dwindled down a little bit, but once again, you get to play the game and play a rivalry game and we are just happy to be able to still do that.”
Landon Giles says,”It’s going to be physical. Believe it’s going to be physical. We are out here, busting our butts pushing these sleds and chutes, hitting each other all day. Preparing for Friday against Sullivan.”
Linton has won 3 of the last 4 meetings. Catch highlights Friday night at 11pm on Goin’ 2 the Endzone.
