LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Linton Senior Logan Webb has been named an IBCA/Franciscan Health Player of The Week. Webb averaged 26 points per game as the Miners picked up wins over Parke Heritage and Brownstown Central to earn their first trip to the state finals since 2019.
The 6-3 Webb played a balanced game with 24 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals, plus he was able to knock down 5-9 shots from long range in the effort. Later that night, though, he got the Miners off to a fast start against a strong Brownstown Central (24-5) club. Webb, a Senior guard, scored 15 of his team’s 18 first quarter points and had 22 by halftime. He finished with 28 points, plus he snagged eight rebounds in the Semi-State Championship.
