SEATTLE, Was. (WTWO/WAWV)– Terre Haute South Graduate Tim Herrin made his Major League debut in the Cleveland Guardians 6-5 win over the Seattle Mariners Sunday.

Herrin pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 0 hits and striking out all four batters he faced. Per Elias Sports Bureau, Herrin is the first pitcher since the mound was moved to its current distance in 1893 to face 4+ batters in his MLB debut and strike out all four.

Herrin becomes only the second Terre Haute South Brave to play in the big leagues.
