TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Sycamores Baseball team beats the Southern Illinois Salukis 6-5 in 10 innings.
The win is Indiana State’s 12th consecutive victory.
Luis Hernandez and Seth Gergley homered in the win. Cameron Holycross earned the win on the mound after throwing 4 scoreless innings in relief.
Adam Pottinger scored the game winning run after Grant Magill’s bunt was fielded and thrown into left field by SIU’s pitcher.
The Sycamores and Salukis continue their series Sunday at 3 p.m.
