PEORIA, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Sycamores baseball team powers past Bradley 8 to 3 on Sunday afternoon.
The win was Indiana State’s 6th in a row and clinched the first sweep of Bradley since 2017 and the first road sweep of the Braves since 2002.
Josue Urdaneta drove in 3 runs in the contest to lead ISU at the plate. Randal Diaz and Seth Gergley both homered in the game.
ISU moves to 19-2 in Missouri Valley Conference play and clinched at least a top two seed in the upcoming MVC tournament. ISU holds a three-game lead for first place with six regular season games remaining.
The Sycamores are back in action Tuesday at Bob Warn Field against the Ball State Cardinals.
