ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WTWO/WAWV) — The No. 5 Indiana State Sycamores made history Thursday, recording the largest margin of victory ever in the history of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament with a 97-58 win over No. 12 Evansville in the first round of Arch Madness.

Robbie Avila led all scorers with 21 points.

The Sycamores move onto the quarterfinals where they get a rematch with No. 4 Belmont. Tip-off is Friday at 3:30 p.m.
