TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– The Indiana State Sycamores baseball team beats the Indiana Hoosiers 4-0 Tuesday evening.
Cameron Holycross earned the win out of the bullpen pitching 4.2 innings, striking out four and allowing 0 runs. His season E.R.A. is now 0.47.
Luis Hernandez and Randal Diaz both homered for ISU in the game.
The win snapped Indiana’s 6 game winning streak against Indiana State. It’s the first shut out for Indiana State against Indiana since 1985.
The Sycamores are back in action Friday for the first game of a weekend series against Illinois State.
