TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Terre Haute South will host Franklin on Friday in a sectional semifinal game. Head coach Tim Herrin says the Braves are ready for the challenge.

“They’re a running football team they like to run the football and they like to try to stop the run they’re going to try to keep us off the field they like to have long drives minimize possessions maybe two possessions each in the 1st half we’re going to have to get off the field when we’re able to and I think we can I really like where we’re at we’ve had a great two weeks of practice going back to two weeks ago that was our best game of the season as a team completely offense defense special teams and I think our kids are finally realizing where our ability is and they believe in themselves and I’m looking forward to game time,” Herrin said.

Added running back Josh Cottee: “They present no challenges you know we’re a team in Terre Haute 6-3 ranked 11th I believe if we were any where near Indianapolis we’d be higher right now but I’ve heard Franklin hasn’t played on grass in two years so they’re going to be here tonight in our house and that’ll be that,” he said. The game is slated for a 7 pm kickoff.
