TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State dropped to 1-2 on the season after a 49-14 loss to Montana on Saturday afternoon. Justin Dinka had 87 yards rushing and the lone offensive touchdown for the Sycamores. Their other score came on defense when Maddix Blackwell forced a fumble and Lucas Hunter recovered the ball and returned it 15 yards to cut the Montana lead down to 42-14.

For the Grizzlies Lucas Johnson threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. The Grizzlies improve to 3-0 with the win. Up next Indiana State has a bye and then goes to Northern Iowa on October 1st. Montana hosts Portland State for Homecoming on September 24th.
