SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Kevin Lanke has been named the Associate Vice President for Athletics at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College by President Dottie King.

Lanke comes to SMWC after almost 25 years at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

“Very excited for this challenge,” says Lanke.

“SMWC being a second year NAIA program, the next 5-7 years are going to be critical in the development of the program, the perception of how SMWC is shown nationally and I can’t wait to be a part of leading that charge.”

He takes over for Ron Prettyman who is leaving in June.
