INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Linton-Stockton’s Joey Hart was named one of six finalists for this year’s Indiana Mr. Basketball award.

The award is given to the senior who receives the most votes from the media and high school coaches around the state.

Hart averaged 23.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists leading the Miners to a 29-2 record and a runner-up finish in the 2A state finals.

The winner will be announced April 19 at the Indiana High School Sports Awards banquet.
