CLOVERDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Cloverdale alum Jalen Moore returned to his high school over the weekend to hold his 2nd annual basketball camp. Around 140 youngsters attended the two day camp at Cloverdale High School.

Moore starred for the Clovers from 2104 to 2017 where he amassed the 12th most points in state history with 2,440. Currently he plays for Oakland University in Michigan and was 2nd in the NCAA last season with 7.7 assists per game.

Moore says it’s a joy to return to the area where he made a name for himself. “Oh I love it I love it you know basketball and one thing I realize is it’s much bigger than me and for me to be able to put on this camp for two years straight and and it’s gotten better this year as well you know they’ll learn a lot having fun and I’m excited for next year you know we’re going to turn it up a notch,” he said.

Moore is also planning to donate backpacks to students at Cloverdale High School next month.
