TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State Softball Head Coach Mike Perniciaro signed a contract extension through the 2027 season on Wednesday.

Perniciaro just finished his sixth season at the helm for ISU softball and led the team to program records in wins (32) and conference wins (17) while guiding the Sycamores to their first appearance in the MVC Softball Tournament Championship Game since 2015.

It is an honor to lead this team and I am looking forward to more success in the future,” Perniciaro said in a statement.
