TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State kicked a field goal in overtime to defeat North Alabama 17-14 on Thursday night. Gavin Screws connected with Tyce Ferrell on the Sycamores lone touchdown of the game. Screws then found Daijon Collins on the 2 point conversion to give ISU a 14-7 lead in the 4th quarter. On the defensive side the Sycamores had 8 sacks and held North Alabama to 8 rush yards.

Screws finished 16 of 30 for 141 yards with a TD. Tee Hodge had 20 carries for 78 yards on the ground. Rylan Cole had two interceptions, the 2nd of which sealed the win and Johnathan Edwards added 3 pass break ups. Next week the Sycamores go to Purdue for a 4 pm ET kickoff.
