TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – It’s year two for the Josh Schertz era at Indiana State and summer camp just wrapped up for the Sycamores. Schertz says his team is way ahead of the pace from his first season. ISU was 11-20 last year and the coach already has an eye on where they can improve this fall.
“Obviously offensively we’re so much more advanced we have so much more skill ball handling passing shooting defensively I think we have so much more size and lateral quickness versatility on both ends offensively I think our menu will be much more diverse because your menu is dependent upon the skill level of the people you’re coaching right so the more skilled your players the more diverse your menu and how we guard people not to be so kind of boiler plate you know game in and game out this team will have that,” Schertz said.
