TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Sycamores baseball team defeats the Murray State Racers 5 to 0 at Bob Warn Field on Saturday afternoon.

Connor Fenlong pitched a complete game, 2-hit shutout and extended his scoreless innings streak to 19. It was Fenlong’s third shutout in his last four starts. Fenlong is the first starting pitcher under Mitch Hannahs to throw a shutout in back-to-back starts and also the first in the Coach Hannahs era with 3 shutouts in the same season.

Indiana State reaches the 20-win plateau in Missouri Valley Conference play for just the second time in program history. Saturday’s win was Mitch Hannahs’ 300th as ISU head coach. Hannahs joins Bob Warn as the only Sycamore Head Coaches to reach that mark.

Indiana State will look to win the series against Murray State Sunday at 1 p.m.
