TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — DePauw Baseball beats Rose-Hulman 16-6 Wednesday night in eight innings.

Rose-Hulman opened the game with a pair of runs in the second inning thanks to a Jonathan Oliger walk and a sacrifice fly for Kade Kline.

DePauw answered with a four-run third inning and another run in the fourth inning.

However, the Fightin’ Engineers answered with an RBI single by Oliger and a two-run home run by Andy Krajecki.

In the sixth, DePauw continued their onslaught with four more runs before scoring seven in the eighth.

The Fightin’ Engineers added an RBI on a Colter Couillard-Rodak triple, but they fell 16-6.

Krajecki led the team with two hits and two RBIs. Couillard-Rodak, Mason Rasmussen, Caleb Frakes, Oliger, and Blake Deckard all added one hit.

Rose-Hulman fell to 17-15 on the season, while DePauw improved to 11-19.  The Fightin’ Engineers return to action on Saturday vs Anderson and Sunday at Earlham for a pair of doubleheaders.
