TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Tyreke Key has made his decision. Key is coming back to Indiana State Basketball and will suit up for the Sycamores in the 2021-2022 men’s college basketball season.
Key is currently 6th all-time on Indiana State’s scoring list. The decision is a huge boost to first year head coach Josh Schertz.
Indiana State could have the right mix of veterans and new faces to make the upcoming season a memorable one for Key who will continue climbing the record books.
Tyreke Key says, “I think it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I have especially with COVID going on, everybody gets the extra year so I think it’s in my best interest that I take the extra year and come back to Indiana State, mark my name in history and have a great season with players that are coming in.”
