ISU defeats Rose-Hulman in exhibition


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University defeated Rose-Hulman 82-60 in a basketball exhibition on Thursday evening at the Hulman Center.

Cooper Neese led the Sycamores with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Xavier Bledson finished 15 points and 9 assists.

Kailex Stephens and Oregon State transfer Dearon Tucker each had 12 points. Freshman Cameron Crawford added 10 points for ISU.

Rose-Hulman was led by forward Dillon Duff, who tallied a team-high 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Samvit Ram added 9 points and Terry Hicks finished with 8 for the Fightin’ Engineers.

Up next, Indiana State opens the regular season at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Green Bay. Rose-Hulman plays Albion at 7 p.m. Wednesday at home.
