TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Lightning in the area caused the baseball game between Indiana State and Dallas Baptist to end in a 2-2 tie. The game was called in the bottom of the 10th inning, with scores and stats reverting to the last completed inning, which was the 9th. Randall Diaz and Josue Urdaneta had RBI’s in the 1st inning to make it 2-0.

On the mound Luke Patzner went 7.1 innings with six strikeouts and four hits allowed. George Specht homered in the top of the 10th inning to give the Patriots the lead 3-2. In the bottom of the 10th the Sycamores had two runners on when the game was called. Up next they will play Valparaiso on Tuesday at 5:30 pm central time.
