Indiana State tops Loyola for first conference win


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State won their first conference game of the season on Sunday with a 76-71 victory over Loyola-Chicago. Tyreke Key led the way with a double double 31 points and 10 rebounds. Cobie Barnes added a career high 13 points and Cooper Neese finished with 12 points. ISU improves to 4-6 on the season. The Sycamores will host Loyola again on Monday night. The back to back games will be standard for the Missouri Valley Conference, who is using them to reduce travel due to the pandemic.
