TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana State Sycamores got 25 points from Cam Henry but it was not enough against Valparaiso in a 75-73 loss on Saturday afternoon at the Hulman Center. Kailex Stephens added 13 points and 7 rebounds and Zach Hobbs had 10 points. Cooper Neese missed the game due to a neck injury suffered in practice on Friday. His status for Tuesday’s game against Missouri State has not been determined yet.

Ben Krikke drove to the basket for a layin to give Valparaiso a 75-73 lead with time winding down. He finished with a team 21 points. Officials placed 6 seconds on the clock and Indiana State’s attempt to tie was off the mark by Julian Larry. The Sycamores drop to 8-10 and will host Missouri State on Tuesday evening at 7 pm.
