Four Terre Haute North Patriots are ready to take the next step in their athletic careers. Tyler Loughmiller is heading to Depauw University to play for the Tigers. Another football player Zach Simoneaux is going to Hanover to suit up for the Panthers.
In volleyball Kayla Harding is continuing a family tradition at Rose Hulman. The senior’s sister played volleyabll on the first Rose Hulman team. Her brother also went there as well. In softball Makayla Price is going to Lincoln Trail College to join the lady Statesmen.
Tyler: “I just felt very welcomed there when I was on campus for my visit and everybody there seemed nice and friendly. Most of my friends I’ll miss them at Terre Haute North just some of the memories I’ve made here.”
Kayla: “I’m very very thankful because I know some of the girls on my team they’re from Los Angeles and Dallas and their parents can’t make it to games and my parents can and I’m very thankful for that.”
Zach: “I have a former teammate Josh Schefsky that goes there now and I had a lot of offers and it just didn’t feel right and whenver I went there I just felt right at home.”
Makayla: “It’s small and it’s not more than an hour away from home so if I did have to come home for some reason then I would be right here.”
