The Rose-Hulman Hall of Fame added 4 new inductees on Saturday.
Three are student-athletes from the 2007 class and the fourth is the late Jim Shaw.
Yaw Aning enters the hall. The former men’s soccer standout was a four time all-conference selection and the HCAC most valuable player in 2006.
Suzy Sundling, a former Rose-Hulman women’s basketball star, ranks second in school history in assists (320) and steals (154). Her 1,311 career points are 4th highest.
Ryan Schipper earned All-American honors in the pole vault with a third-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships. He ranks No. 2 in Rose-Hulman history with a career-best leap of 16′ 6″.
Lastly, longtime men’s basketball coach Jim Shaw enters the hall posthumously after passing in 2015. Shaw led the Engineers to six NCAA Division III touranment appearances. He picked up 303 career victories, second most in program history. Shaw was also a two-time conference Golf Coach of the Year.
