Barr-Reeve wins state title, Parke Heritage finishes 2nd

INDIANAPOLIS (WTWO/WAWV) – The Barr-Reeve Vikings won the school’s 2nd state championship on Saturday with a 64-48 victory over Kouts. Senior Curt Hopf led the way with 23 points and 19 rebounds. The 19 rebounds set a new record for the class A state championship.

Following that was the class 2 A state title, won by Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian over Parke Heritage. Wolves senior Connor Davis led the team in scoring with 18 points and 9 rebounds. They return Noble Johnson, who will be a senior next season and Christian Johnson who enters his junior year at Parke Heritage.
