SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Sullivan Golden Arrows are preparing to renew their rivalry when they travel to Linton Friday night. Sullivan has not won in Linton since the 2009 season.

Head coach Blaine Powell says, “These kids have a little extra pump this week than they did even last week. It means a lot to the communities too. It’s a long standing rivalry and when you play somebody over a hundred times throughout history it is a special game.”

William Newby says, “The way the community gathers around it especially and it’s not just in football it’s every sport. This rivalry is something else. You can see why when you come out on Friday night and watch it you can tell. This is the biggest thing all year.”

Kickoff is set for 7pm Friday night in Linton.
