WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Alex Barnaby is officially heading to college. The Vikings senior will play softball at the University of Evansville next season. Barnaby holds the school record with 11 home runs at West Vigo. Playing in college is the culmination of a lifelong dream. “It’s absolutely surreal like this is something I’ve been dreaming about since I was a little girl like first stepped foot on the dirt and I just fell in love with it and it’s absolutely insane that I get to take it to the next level,” she said.
