TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Blake Kramer says,”The story is basically we were walking to Saratoga across the street for Easter with my family and had the idea of putting a smoothie bar in Terre Haute, but never really had a place to put it.”
There’s something new brewing downtown Terre Haute and it’s all thanks to an Indiana State Sycamore.
Blake Kramer spent four years running for ISU, now he is using that passion to open up 5th Street Nutrition.
Kramer says,”Basically the same thing I used to do with training. Spent all day training, now I spend all day here. Making sure everything is supplied and making sure customers are happy.”
The 23-year-old is not only the owner, but he operates Nutrition with a small crew, including his family and best friend.
Michael Cripe says,”He’s definitely changed my life for the better and taught me how to live a healthier lifestyle. Not just a typical diet, but teach me how to eat moderately and enjoy life.”
Word is spreading fast about Terre Haute’s new healthy stop.
Blake says,”Size of crowd we are getting right now we were thinking that’s how it’s going to be when the students get back and we don’t even have the students back yet so we are excited to see how that comes.”
