The Terre Haute Quarter Midget Association can move forward with plans to build a new track.
After tabling the matter for 60 days, the Vigo County Commissioners voted in favor of rezoning property at Davis Drive and Houseman Street.
Nearby homeowners have expressed concerns, saying they are worried about noise, traffic and flying dust from the track.
The THQMA hopes to start construction on the new track in the coming weeks, before the winter months begin.
