TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Voters still looking to learn more about candidates for the upcoming Terre Haute Municipal Election can do so at a Candidate Forum held at a local church.

The non-partisan effort will feature candidates for contested city council, city clerk, and mayoral races. Both Republican and Democrat candidates will be in attendance.

During the forum, each candidate will be given a chance to speak about themselves to the crowd in attendance and will have the opportunity to answer questions from attendees.

The forum will be held on Wednesday, October 18 starting at 7 p.m. at First Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Fruitridge Avenue. The church’s Social Action Committee is organizing the effort.

Following the forum, time will be provided in the church’s “social hall” for candidates to speak one-on-one with those in attendance with light refreshments provided.
