FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Tuesday is Municipal Election Day across the state of Indiana, and here in the Wabash Valley there are a number of important races throughout various cities and towns.

One of those major races we’ll be following closely is the race for Terre Haute Mayor between incumbent Duke Bennett (R) and challenger Brandon Sakbun (D). Other cities with contested mayoral races we’re following are Washington, Jasonville, Linton, Vincennes, Loogootee and Clinton.

Polls opened at 6 a.m. and will remain open until 6 p.m. – to find your voting location options, visit the IndianaVoters website here.

After polls close, we’ll bring you the latest results on this page as the unofficial tally is counted.
