WTWO raises most money in Happiness Bag lip sync fundraiser

News

The first ever Lip Sync Battle took place from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at Terre Haute Brewing Company.

Teams raised money prior to the event, and then performed songs and competed for votes and bragging rights.

Tickets were $10 a person and proceeds went to the Happiness Bag Capital Campaign.

A groups of ladies from our WTWO staff participated in the fundraiser, performing Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”.

“We are trying to expand our building and every little dollar that we make goes towards that expansion project so it doesn’t matter if it’s, you know, five dollars, ten dollars; whatever we make this evening stays in the wabash valley and it will go towards our project,” said Happiness Bag Executive Director Jodi Moan.

WTWO raised the most money of all teams with $1006 raised, taking home the “Mo Money” 1st Place Award.
