BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — White Pine Manor held a silent auction to raise money to feed local children in need.
Locally made pottery pieces were auctioned off in hopes of feeding more than 400 children this summer.
All of the proceeds raised will go to the Clay County Summer Food Delivery Program. The business hopes to raise $30,000 for the program!
JoAnn Wilkerson, owner of White Pine Manor, said it feels good to get out and support a good cause.
“They need money because their fundraiser could not be held because of COVID. So, this is kind of an immediate need. Were just trying to step in and try to help fill that need,” she said.
