TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana officials are recognizing West Central Indiana as the newest 21st Centuary Talent Region.
The statewide designation is awarded to Indiana communities that the state feels are working collaboratively to attract, develop and connect talent.
It’s an effort the West Central 2025 team has been recognized as leading. The goal of that group is to reduce population decline in the area by 2025, increase the number of certificate and degree holders, and raise income levels for all households.
The West Central Indiana region includes six counties: Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo.
