Whitney Wesley has been named the Director of Student Activities at Vincennes University, according to an announcement by Richard L. Walker, VU Associate Dean of Students.

“Whitney brings a wealth of experience working with students and student success. Her background in student affairs combined with having worked with faculty, staff, and other constituencies will make her an asset to Vincennes University, the office of Student Life, the faculty and staff, as well as students. I am excited about the future Student Activities programming at VU.”

Wesley previously worked as an assistant director of career services at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and brings considerable experience engaging students. In her new role she will advise the Student Government Association, coordinate student elections, implement co-curricular programs, and assist the faculty and academic areas with grants.

Wesley earned a master’s degree in student affairs and higher education at Indiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in social work at Indiana University East.
