FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A line of thunderstorms is moving quickly through southern sections of the Wabash Valley containing gusty winds and quarter-inch-sized hail.

According to NOAA, At 8:55 a.m., the public reported quarter size hail on the east side of Flora.

The storm is moving to the East at 65 mph and will impact the southern section of the Wabash Valley in Indiana, as well.

At 10:31 a.m. (EDT), NOAA issues a severe thunderstorm warning for Southeastern Putnam County and Central Morgan County. This warning will remain in effect until 11 a.m. (EDT).

Additionally, the southern half of the viewing area will be under a flood watch running from Thursday evening until Saturday morning as rain is expected to fall.
