Seelyville Water Customers who live on Chamberlain Road or east of there are under a boil order until further notice, due to a water main break.
The water main break happened at US 40 and Main Street in Seelyville.
Officials say it’s expected to affect mainly the residents of Seelyville, although any outage may affect the entire water system.
As crews work to fix the problem, they will close the westbound lane of US 40, a block east of Main Street. The northbound lane of Main Street from US 40 will also be shut down.
Officials say they are working to repair this as quickly as possible and appreciate customers’ patience. Seelyville Water Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
