WATCH: Randall Hedden speed paints John Lennon portrait

News
VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Artist and former Vincennes resident Randall Hedden created a portrait of John Lennon in a matter of minutes.

He will highlight his speed painting talents through a special presentation, “Painting American – Funny Again” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Red Skelton Museum.

The performance celebrates the accomplishments and influences of celebrities and notables with live performance art.

During the performance, paintings will come to life on canvas depicting the celebrity’s passion, personality and influence while being synchronized to customized medleys.

Everyone who attends Friday’s event will have the opportunity to win the painting.

Friday, he will also complete portraits of Robin Williams, Ed Wynn and, of course, Red Skelton.
