TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Those in need in Terre Haute were able to take advantage of important services Friday at the Wabash Valley Community Connect event.
The resource fair took place at Ryves Hall on Locust Street.
Around 80 different vendors set up to serve those who are low-income.
Nearly 200 attendees were able to get haircuts, voter registration information, free grocery items, and even bikes.
Organizers said it takes several months to prepare for the event, but it’s always worth their time and effort.
