TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County YMCA welcomes its members back into its facility after being temporarily closed during the stay-at-home order.
The Vigo County YMCA was able to open its building last week and opened the pool Monday.
The facility is currently open to members only to limit the number of people in the building.
Executive Branch Director Cindi Monds says ten people can be in the pool at a time and it’s restricted to lap-swimming for now.
She says welcoming their members back has been like a homecoming.
In addition to encouraging social distancing, Monds says they are also following strict protocols throughout the building.
