The Vigo County School Corportation has taken “preliminary action” toward students of interest in regards to a threat made against Terre Haute South Vigo High School last week, according to a statement released by the district.
While the statement did not go into detail about what actions were taken, it was noted that extra security will be on hand Tuesday as students return from a long weekend.
“Although no arrest has been made, VCSC continues to work with local law enforcement to resolve this matter,” the statement read. “In addition to our current Student Safety Officers, the Vigo County School Corporation, in partnership with our local law enforcement, will maintain extra security officers throughout the district tomorrow.”
