VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A gathering was held on Monday for the students that will be traveling to Tajimi, Japan in about a week.
Four students from each of the three Vigo County high schools chose to take the trip. They will be accompanied by a few teachers.
Once in Japan the students will visit their high schools, live with their host families, and soak in the culture.
They will leave July 25th and return August 7th.
Crispen Ewen, a senior from Terre Haute South, said “Its incredible. I probably wont have the opportunity to go to Japan with other people I know so this is kinda like special and I get to go with people I know.”
