VIGO CO., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County Fair will look a little different this year without it’s usual in-person 4-H exhibits.
Purdue Extension released a statement Wednesday announcing that the 4-H portion of the fair will happen virtually.
Concerns over implementing safety protocols and uncertainty surrounding hosting activities for the Vigo County Fair contributed to the decision.
Officials say they will continue to find ways to support and celebrate 4-H participants in and out of the show ring.
The statement also says that the Wabash Valley Fair Association is finalizing plans for non-4H events to be held July 11-18.
