TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Unwanted electronics of all kinds will be accepted Wednesday at the Vigo County Solid Waste Management facility for its E-Waste Day.
The opportunity is only for Vigo County residents and you will be asked for a proof of address.
The event will be held at their facility at 3230 E. Haythorne Avenue in Terre Haute from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Disposal of all T.V.s will cost residents $20. Other items accepted will be printers, anything battery operated or that plugs into the wall.
“It’s a rain or shine event, basically we will just validate that the people are Vigo County residents. We’ll have people here to help unload the items out of their truck or car or van, it’s a really good event, we probably have four of these out of the year.
Nasser says there will likely be one more E-Waste day before the end of the year.
September 19th, there will be a Tox Away day where you can take toxic chemicals like unwanted paints, even refrigerators and washers and dryers.
