Vigo Co. Clerk says despite having to adjust to a pandemic during primary elections, it was a success


VIGO CO.,Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Tight races down the ballot, nearly taking a backseat to the circumstances surrounding Primary Election Day.

An ever-changing plan due to COVID-19 made this an election unlike any the county has seen before.

Early voting, social distancing and a surge in absentee ballots, highlight a few of the ways the county adapted.

Vigo County Clerk Brad Newman still calls the day a success.
