Here are some deals from businesses and restaurants around the Valley and beyond in honor of Veterans Day.

Applebee’s: Free meals for Veterans all day long/Free meal for a Veteran

Chili’s: Special menu for Veterans/Eat for free

Olive Garden:  Get a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu.      

T.G.I. Friday’s:  Up to $12 free lunch from limited menu for Veterans, 11 AM-2 PM.

Little Caesars: Little Caesars Pizza: Get a free $5 hot-and-ready lunch combo from 11 AM to 2 PM

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from special menu

The Greathouse Of Pizza: Annual Free Meal For Veterans For Active, Former, or Retired Military. Please Show Proof of Service With: Military ID Card, Veterans Affairs Card, or Discharge Papers.

Bob Evans Restaurants: Veterans and active duty military personnel can receive the choice of one of six free meals on Veterans Day (all day).

Select Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Menu Items Are: Stack of Hotcakes (Buttermilk or Multigrain), Fresh Baked Brioche French Toast, Country Biscuit Breakfast, Mini Sampler Breakfast, Farm Boy Sandwich, Country Fried Steak Dinner)

IHOP:  Veterans can get a free order of red, white and blue pancakes on Friday, Nov. 10 (not Veteran’s Day).

IHOP will also donate $1 toward Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, an organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, for each order of red, white and blue pancakes purchased during November.

J. Gumbo’s Cajun Joint- All active and retired reservists can receive a free meal Friday, November 10th. Must show ID.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Get a free dessert or appetizer (no other purchase required). Those dining with the veteran or active duty military member will also get 10 percent off their bill.

Stadler’s Barbershop: Stadler’s Barbershop in Terre Haute will offer any one of its services for free to veterans and military personnel on Veterans Day. The event will be from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Stadler’s Barbershop is located at 2929 S. 3rd Place, next to ZTech and Big O Tires.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt:  6 oz. off every cup for free to any service members and first responders who present ID or wear uniform.

Cracker Barrel: The restaurant is raising money for Operation Homefront as well as giving out free slices of its double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake.

Starbucks: Get a free tall brewed coffee.

Great Clips:  Visit a U.S. Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 receive either a free haircut that day or the free haircut card to use at a later date.

Non-Veterans: Purchase a service at a U.S. great Clips salon on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know.

Outback Steakhouse: Veterans, servicemen and women plus their families will receive 20% their entire check 11/12-11/16.

Beginning November 17th, all Military families, plus Police Officers and Firefighters, with valid ID will receive 10% off their entire check all day, every day.  

Texas Roadhouse: Get a free lunch entree from a special Veterans Day menu. Items include a 6-ounce sirloin steak, pork chop, and a pulled pork dinner.  Deals on electronics, low prices on DVDs, toys, jewelry, and a variety of party supplies.

The Dollar General: On Veterans Day, Dollar General will offer active duty service members, veterans and their family members an 11% discount.

Home Depot: 10% discount to military servicemen and servicewomen. This discount shall be available to: Active-Duty, National Guard, Reserve, retirees, disabled service members, honorably discharged veterans and their dependents (spouse and children).
