VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vermillioin County 4-H Fair started tonight and kicked off fair season in the Valley.
Participants brought in their projects for judging and started unloading their animals for show.
Along with the annual 4-H activities, fair goers got to enjoy food, carnival rides and games.
The fair is an event residents wait all year to attend.
Rebekah Addison said, “you get to see all the talent in the local community and you get to see all sorts of different fun animals and fun activities you never knew existed.”
Another attendant, Braden Mcalin, said “my favorite part of 4-H is I can see my friends and help other people.”
Nora Thomann said, “I think it’s fun because you can go and ride rides, you can go see other peoples projects.”
If you couldn’t attend tonight or the weather made you weary, don’t fret.
The fair continues until Saturday, June 29th.
