UPDATE: Victim identified in Heritage Drive homicide

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The victim in Friday’s homicide on Heritage Dr. in Terre Haute has been identified.

26-year-old Evan Pershing died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Coroner Dr. Susan Amos. Durend Randall is currently facing murder charges connected to the homicide.

A second victim taken to the hospital Friday morning has not yet been identified.
