Pi Day brought an extra sweet incentive to donate to the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
In the spririt of Pi Day, anyone who donated $100 or more to the United Way received a “thank you” pie.
It’s all part of the organization’s Stronger United Challenge.
The United Way has a goal of moving 10,000 local families into financial stability. However, the organization has seen a gap in donations, so they could use your help to make it happen.
“Since we’ve had a decline in donations, the money that’s raised during this challenge is going to be invested this year, so it will go to help our agencies transition into our new strategic plan and also fund our new impact councils that are starting,” says Abby Desboro, Marketing Director.
While the United Way rallied on Thursday, the annual resource drive actually continues through March 20.
